You have to catch the ball before you can tag the runner (note the red circle at the far right of the picture above ~ that's the ball already ten feet past the third baseman!)
First things first. That's important in every aspect of life, not just baseball. And there are spiritual implications as well.
In fact, when it comes to your relationship with God you need to take care of 'First Things' all the time.
